European Union: Policy Highlights and Opportunities

The European Union and its Member States have committed to meeting the SDG 12.3 target to halve per capita food waste at the retail and consumer level by 2030 by reducing food losses along the food production and supply chains.

The Atlas – EU Series, led in partnership with the European Food Banks Federation (FEBA), provides a special collection of reports focused on food loss and waste policies within the European Union.
